How Can I Check If A Business Is Registered?

Yous can check your business organization proper noun details are up to date by searching your business name or logging in to your ASIC Connect account.

Some business concern details are not publicly available when searching. This includes your:

• residential address
• email address or
• whatever details you take had suppressed (if applicable)

• Carry a search using the Business Names Index
• Log in to your ASIC Connect account

Deport a search using the Concern Names Index

This is the quickest way to check your business organisation name details are upward to appointment. However, certain business details are not publicly available on the Business organization Names Index. This includes your:

• residential address
• electronic mail accost or
• any details you take had suppressed (if applicable)

To bank check your business name details through the Concern Names Index:

Footstep 1 - Go to ASIC Connect search

Step 2 - Select 'Business Names Index' from the drop downward box in the top right corner

Step three - Enter the ABN or proper noun of the business organization you're looking for

You lot'll see a list of matching results on the business names register.

Step four - Select your business organisation name from the list

You'll encounter a summary of the business organisation proper name details. You can too save them every bit a PDF.

Log into your ASIC Connect business relationship

By logging into your ASIC Connect account, you can see all your business name details, including those that may not exist publicly available.

To bank check your business organisation name details through your ASIC Connect business relationship:

Step 1 - Go to ASIC Connect and log in

If you lot don't have an ASIC Connect account, find out the steps to register.  You'll need to link your business name using your ASIC central before information technology will appear in your account.

Step 2 - Select the 'Lodgements & Notifications' tab at the top of the screen

This will display all the business names linked to your account

Step 3 - Select the radio button to the left of your chosen business organisation proper noun and select 'Go'

This will show y'all the details of the selected business names, including addresses, holder details, partner details (if whatsoever), and representative details (if any)

If whatever of your business name details are incorrect, you should update them as soon as possible.  Changes must be made within 28 days of them occurring.
